Amana Waters

Being located in Pavodi Bazar means there is always something going on outside the doors of Amana Waters. Panaikulam is a lively place, and the bazar is really the heart of it. We spend our days dealing with water, which is a lot of work when you consider the heat we get around here. There’s always the sound of people talking and scooters zooming by right outside. Our setup is pretty basic because we don't need much more than the equipment and space to move things around. We focus on getting the containers filled and out to where they need to go. It’s heavy work, and by midday, everyone is usually sweating and looking for a bit of shade. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. Most of our customers are people who have known us for years or just saw us while they were walking through the bazar. Sometimes the water lines are a bit of a headache to maintain, but we’ve learned how to fix most things ourselves by now. It’s just the reality of running a small local outfit. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the routine. Every now and then, the bazar gets really crowded for a festival, and we have to work around all the extra people. It’s just part of the charm of being where we are and helping folks out.
