Travel City

Travel City is situated inside D & Ds Mansion on Quinton Road. We are right across from the Anand Hotel in Shillong. It is a decent spot because Quinton Road is fairly well-known around here. We have been in this building for some time now. It’s just a regular office space where we handle travel bookings. There isn't anything particularly special about the building, but it serves us well. Being opposite Anand Hotel makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. Shillong is a hilly city, so having a flat spot on Quinton Road is nice. We spend our days here talking to people and sorting out their trips. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to get the work done. The mansion can be a bit quiet sometimes compared to the main bazar, but we like it that way. It gives us a bit of room to breathe. If you are walking down from the main junction, you just look for the hotel and you’ll see D & Ds Mansion right there. We are usually in by ten and stay until the work is finished for the day. It’s a simple life running a travel desk in this part of town. No fuss, just a regular local business. We keep some chairs for people to sit while they wait. It is a calm corner in the city.
