Just Trippin

Our place is right on Thana Road. If you know Shillong, you know this part of town gets quite crowded. We like the energy of it though. Just Trippin is what we call ourselves, and we've been here for a while now. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a room with some desks where we plan out trips and chat with people who want to see the hills. Thana Road has everything you need, so being located here makes sense for us. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are just looking for a taxi, others want to spend a week out in the villages. We try to give them the honest truth about what the roads are like, especially when the rain starts. It’s not always easy travel in these parts, but we know the way. We keep our paperwork in order and try to stay organized, even when it gets busy. There’s no big marketing team here. It’s just us answering the door and taking calls. We've lived in Shillong a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the places that aren't too crowded yet. It’s a simple business. We like talking to travelers and hearing their stories after they come back from a trip. It makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. The shop isn't much to look at, but we are always here. It works for us.
