We've been at Salonsar Mansion for a while now, up on the second floor. Most people know the spot on Jail Road in Police Bazar. It’s usually busy around here with people rushing back and forth. We handle travel stuff for people coming through Shillong. It’s not a huge office, just a workspace where we figure out tickets and local trips. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much when you're carrying bags, but we like being right in the middle of town. There's always something happening right outside the window. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the entrance of the building. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with travel plans can be a real headache, so we just sit down and get it sorted. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook, other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We know the roads around Meghalaya pretty well. It's not fancy here, just a desk and some chairs and a lot of maps taped to the wall. We've seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Some are tourists, some are just locals heading out for work or visiting family. We don't really do the big flashy ads. Most folks just walk in because they saw our name on the board downstairs or heard about us from a friend. It gets a bit cold in the winters, but the office stays fairly warm. We're usually here most days unless we're out. It's just how we run things. There’s always someone around to answer questions.
