Quests Holidays

Laitumkhrah is a busy part of Shillong, and we have been here in the Yalana Building for a while now. Most people know the spot because it is right beside Hotel Yalana. If you walk down the main road, you can’t really miss it. The office is where we spend most of our days, dealing with phone calls and people walking in to ask about trips. It gets pretty loud outside with all the cars and students from the nearby colleges, but inside we just keep things moving. We started Quests Holidays because we like the travel business. It is not always easy. Some days the internet is slow or the phones won't stop ringing. We just sit here at our desks, surrounded by maps and old files. It is a simple setup, nothing too fancy. We have some tea in the afternoons and chat with whoever drops by. Laitumkhrah has changed a lot over the years, more shops and traffic now. But we stay in this same building. We handle a lot of paperwork. Sometimes people just want to know how to get from one town to another, and we try to figure it out for them. It is just a regular job for us. We keep the place open during normal hours and try to get things done. If you are around the main road, you can see our sign. It is just us here, working through the daily list of bookings.
