Capital Tours

Capital Tours is based out of Bawri Mansion in the Dhankheti area. It’s a bit different from being right in the middle of the market, but we like the neighborhood. Dhankheti has its own rhythm. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. The office is pretty basic, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of files. We focus on getting people on their way. Whether it’s a bus ticket or a private car, we handle the bookings as they come in. We don't go in for big advertisements. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or just see the sign when they're passing by. We try to keep things honest. If the roads are bad because of a landslide, we’ll tell you straight. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. We’ve seen the weather change plenty of times, so we know how to plan around it. It’s a steady job. We show up, answer the phones, and help whoever walks through the door. It’s not a corporate environment. We might be drinking tea and chatting when you walk in, but we get the work done. The mansion is an old building with a lot of character. We’re glad to be part of its history. It’s a simple setup for what we do, and that’s how we like it. We usually keep the windows open to let the mountain air in when the weather is nice.
