Sandhya College Of Physiotherapy

Our college is down in Penuguduru, which is part of the Kakinada area. It is a bit away from the main city noise, which is good for a place where people are trying to learn about healthcare. Sandhya College focuses on physiotherapy, so we have a lot of equipment for exercises and learning about how the human body moves. The students spend a lot of time in the labs and the practice rooms. It is a very hands-on kind of place. You will not find many people just sitting around; they are usually busy practicing on each other or looking at anatomical charts. The building is functional, with large windows to let in the air. Since we are in Kakinada, it can get quite humid, so we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can for the staff and students. Many of the people who study here come from the surrounding villages. They stay in local hostels or commute by bus every day. We do not have a big marketing department. We just focus on the curriculum and making sure the students know how to handle patients properly once they finish their course. It is a serious environment because healthcare is important, but it is also a friendly place. The teachers are always around to show how a certain machine works or how to do a specific stretch. It is just a regular college working hard.
