Prashanth Em School

Prashanth Em School sits right on the Main Road in Kutukuluru. Being in East Godavari, we get quite a bit of heat during the summer months, so we try to keep the classrooms as airy as possible with big windows. It’s a simple English Medium school. We aren't one of those high-priced private academies you find in the big cities. We’re just a local school serving the kids in this village and the ones from the farms nearby. Most people just walk here or come on a cycle. The building has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy and does the job. We spend a lot of time on the basics—reading, writing, and math. It’s a lot of hard work for the teachers and the kids alike. We have a small yard where they play during the morning break. You can hear them shouting and laughing from the main road when they’re out there. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person to handle things. If someone wants to know about us, they just come by the gate and ask. We’re usually around, either in the office or checking on the classes. It’s a practical way to run a school without getting too complicated. We just want to make sure the children here get their education without having to travel too far from home. It's just us and the daily routine.
