Thmes Export House

Thmes Export House is situated in Phase-I of Mayur Vihar, specifically at 72-F Pocket-I. If you have ever spent time in this part of Delhi, you know it is a mix of residential blocks and small businesses tucked away in every corner. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes. There are boxes stacked near the entrance, boxes in the hallway, and usually a few open ones on the desks. We deal with a lot of shipping and receiving, so there is always a bit of tape and bubble wrap lying around the floor. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it gets the job done. The light in the back room is a bit dim, so we usually have to keep the front door open to let some air and sunlight in. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when we are moving heavy crates around. We have a small cooler that works okay if you stand right in front of it. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of numbers. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we block the lane with a delivery, so we try to move fast and keep the peace. It is just a regular Delhi export office with no bells or whistles, just people working through their daily lists until the sun goes down.
