Steel Mart

Steel Mart is located on the 1st Floor of Plot No- 3 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by factories and warehouses, so it’s not exactly a quiet place to work. There are always trucks loading and unloading steel beams and pipes on the road below. Our space is upstairs, so we have a bit of a view of the street activity. We deal in different kinds of steel products. It’s heavy work and the office reflects that. We have heavy-duty shelves and a few sturdy desks for handling the orders and invoices. We don’t do any fancy advertising. Most people who come to us are regulars or they’ve heard about us from someone else in the trade. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we usually just shout down if someone is looking for us at the gate. It’s a practical setup without any frills. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking prices and making sure deliveries are on track. Sometimes the dust from the industrial area gets inside, so we spend a bit of time cleaning the desks every morning. It’s just the way it is when you work in steel. We keep things simple and focus on getting the right metal to the right person. Sometimes we share a snack in the afternoon when the work slows down a bit.
