Our office is in Pocket-1 of Mayur Vihar Phase-1, specifically at 210-F. Being in New Delhi means things are always moving fast around us. We are right in the middle of a busy residential and commercial mix. The stairs up to our floor are a bit steep, so we get plenty of exercise every day. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of paper and the sound of a few computers humming. We deal with steel supplies and it keeps us on our toes from morning until evening. There is no fancy decor here, just functional furniture and a calendar on the wall that we forget to flip sometimes. We have been in this specific pocket of Mayur Vihar for quite a while now. The local chai wallah knows our usual order by heart and drops it off at the same time every day. It is a practical place. We do not spend money on expensive rugs or modern art. We would rather just focus on making sure the orders are processed and sent out. People drop by with questions, and we do our best to answer them without too much fuss. Sometimes the printer jams and we all have to take a minute to fix it ourselves. It is just a normal office with normal people. We have seen the metro line grow and the traffic get heavier over the years.
