Shiv Iron Traders

You can find us at No.27 in the Mahila Colony Furniture Market, right on the main road in Gandhinagar. It’s a busy stretch of road, and we’re surrounded by all sorts of shops selling beds and tables. We deal in iron, mostly for construction or for people making furniture nearby. It’s a heavy business. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks and making sure we have enough stock for whoever walks in. The market is always crowded, especially on the weekends, so it gets a bit intense. We don't have a polished showroom. Our place is more of a warehouse where everything is stacked up. We’ve been here in Gandhinagar for quite some time. We know most of the other shop owners on the main road. It’s a good community to be a part of. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know we’re here and they come by when they need iron rods or bars. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and we have to cover everything up quickly. But we manage. It’s just a regular local business. We show up, we sell our iron, and we go home. We aren't trying to do anything more than that. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We like the fact that we can see the results of our labor every day when the trucks pull out loaded with iron.
