Our factory is at D-26, Pandav Nagar, right across from the Mother Dairy on Patparganj Road. If you know that area in Delhi-110092, you know it’s always moving. We do a lot of metal work here, so there is usually a bit of noise from the machines. It’s a practical kind of place. We have stacks of raw materials in one corner and finished parts ready to go in another. The floor is concrete and we’ve got tools scattered around the benches where the guys work. It’s not a shiny office; it’s a place where things actually get made. We deal with a lot of heat and heavy lifting every day. Most of us have been working with metal for a long time, so we know the smell of the shop floor well. The traffic on Patparganj Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get the trucks loaded early. It’s a local business through and through. We know the guy at the tea stall outside and the other shop owners on the street. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have for the week and make sure the quality is okay before anything leaves the gate. It's hard work, but it feels good to see the finished products stacked up. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
