Shalini Art

If you head down to Pandav Nagar in Buapur, you’ll find us over at Kailash Complex. We are in Shop No 19, right on the Main Road. It gets pretty loud with all the buses and cars rushing past, but you get used to it after a week or two. Shalini Art has been operating from this little corner for some time now. The shop isn’t massive, so we have to be pretty smart about how we stack things up. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives, but we make it work. The light in Kailash Complex can be a bit dim in the hallways, but Shop No 19 is usually bright enough for us to see what we’re doing. We spend a lot of time just organizing the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. People walking by on the Main Road often peek in, and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers in the building pretty well. We share tea and talk about how the road is getting more crowded every year. There is no fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit here. It’s just us, some dusty shelves, and a lot of work to get through before we head home. It is a simple setup in Pandav Nagar, but it is ours and we know every inch of the place.
