The workshop is located in Azad Nagar Main Ruby Market, right in Pasonda Gaon. If you come by, you’ll hear us before you see us. There is always the sound of metal being cut or hammers hitting something. It’s a dusty place because that’s just the nature of working with steel. We’ve got piles of scrap in the corner and tools hanging on the walls where they’ve been for years. It’s a family-run sort of vibe here. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the crafts. Sometimes we’re making gates, other times it’s small parts for local shops. The heat from the welding can be a lot in the summer, but we just keep the doors open to get a breeze. Everyone in Ruby Market knows us. We’ve been through a lot of rainy seasons here where the floor gets a bit damp. We don't promise anything we can't do. If a job is too big for us, we tell people straight. Mostly it’s just honest hard work with our hands. We eat lunch together on the big wooden table in the back. It’s a loud, messy, busy life but it feels good to see something finished at the end of the day. Steel is tough to work with but it lasts a long time once it’s done right.
