Our place is at Plot No.288 in the Functional Industrial Estate over in Patparganj. It’s a typical industrial area, with lots of trucks and people moving things around from early morning. S K International has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. We have a decent amount of space for our equipment and whatever materials we happen to have on hand. It’s not the kind of place you would visit for the decor or the view. Everything is built for function and not much else. We spend most of our hours making sure the machines are running okay or checking the latest shipments that come in. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, which is really annoying, but we just deal with it and wait. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you are not used to how the industrial layout works. We have a small team, and everyone knows what they are supposed to do without being told. There isn't much talk about big goals or anything like that here. We just focus on getting the work done by the end of the day so we can go home. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved in one corner. It gets dusty because of all the activity nearby. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in during the heat. It is just a regular workplace where we try to stay busy.
