Rahi Art Services

We’ve been here at Shop No. 2 in Patparganj Main Market for a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially with the Mandir and Masjid right nearby, so there’s always people moving around. Most days start with us opening the shutters and dusting off the frames. Rahi Art Services isn't a fancy gallery or anything, just a practical place where we handle a lot of different things. Sometimes it’s a family photo that needs a simple border, other times it’s a bigger piece of art someone wants to hang in their living room. The shop is small, so things can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of orders coming in at once. We spend a lot of time measuring wood and cutting glass. You can hear the market noise all day, which we’ve gotten used to. It’s just how it is here. People stop by after visiting the temple or the mosque, sometimes just to ask a price or look at what we’re working on. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get done. It’s steady work, and we like being part of this neighborhood. The tea stall guy nearby usually brings us chai around four, which is the highlight of the afternoon. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand, making sure the edges are straight and the glass is clean before anyone picks up their stuff.
