Modi Industries

Our place, Modi Industries, is situated on Plot No. B/4 along the Main Road in Ghazipur. If you head behind Ghazipur Village, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a big open plot where we do our manufacturing and storage. We have a lot of trucks coming in and out, so the ground is mostly packed dirt and gravel. It gets very dusty when the wind blows. We make industrial components and some heavy-duty parts. It’s a lot of manual labor. I’m usually out there with the guys instead of sitting in the office. The office is just a small cabin with a desk and a few chairs. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day. We’ve been at this location for a long time. We’ve seen the village grow and the road get busier. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Our work usually speaks for itself when people see the items we produce. We have a dog that guards the yard at night, and during the day he just sleeps under the shade of the trucks. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just look at the orders, get the materials ready, and start the machines. It’s how we’ve always done it and it works for us and our families here. We just keep moving.
