Our business is situated at number 409 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. It’s a large building that feels very much like a warehouse inside. The ceilings are high, and the sound of metal clanking echoes around quite a bit. We deal with various types of metal supplies, so there are always stacks of sheets or rods waiting to be moved. The floor is grey concrete, and it's seen plenty of wear and tear over the years from heavy machinery and trolleys. We don't have a fancy reception area; it’s mostly just desks tucked into a corner where we manage the orders and talk to suppliers on the phone. The air always has that faint smell of iron and cutting oil. It’s a hardworking environment, and we usually have a layer of dust on our boots by the end of the shift. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a long time, so we’ve seen the industrial area change quite a bit around us. There’s a rhythm to the day here, from the trucks arriving in the morning to the final count of the inventory before we close up. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for fun, but it’s where we get our production work done. We focus on the physical tasks and making sure things are loaded correctly. It’s just a solid, practical workplace where we get through the daily orders.
