M S Steel Blade Industries

M S Steel Blade Industries is located at C-14 in New Brij Puri, which is over in the Khureji area. We are quite close to Laxmi Nagar, a landmark that most people in this part of the city recognize. We spend our time making all sorts of steel blades for different industrial uses. The constant sound of grinding metal is something you just get used to after working here for a week. It is a bit cramped inside the workshop because we keep large sheets of raw steel leaning against the walls. We have to be careful where we step so we do not trip over any offcuts. The smell of cold metal and the oil we use for cooling is always hanging in the air. We do not have a fancy reception area or a place for people to sit and wait. If you come by the shop, you just walk right in and find one of us standing near the machinery. We always wear heavy gloves because those blade edges get sharp very quickly. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to sit and wait for it to come back, which is just part of living in this neighborhood. We have been in Khureji for a long time now. It is a tight-knit spot with many small workshops sitting side by side. We just focus on getting the steel tempered right and the edges straight for the customers.
