You can find Aarkay Enterprises at 9 Vijay Block in Laxmi Nagar. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Laxmi Nagar is always buzzing with people and traffic, so there is never a dull moment outside our windows throughout the day. Our office is tucked away in the block, and it provides a bit of a retreat from the noise outside. We have a modest setup with a few computers and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do a bit of everything here, from handling orders to talking to people who walk in with questions about what we do. It’s a small operation, mostly just a couple of us who have known each other for years. We don't bother with suits or formal meetings. We just sit down with a cup of chai and figure out what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the block and we have to wait it out or use the backup, which is just part of being in this part of town. We keep our records mostly on paper and in some basic spreadsheets on the computer. It isn't high-tech, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We know our neighbors well and sometimes they drop by just to say hello or share some snacks. It’s a friendly place to work. We just keep moving forward, handling one task at a time until the shutters go down for the evening.
