Our office in Mayur Vihar is a bit different from the factory sites. We are located in the AIIMS Apartments, specifically Flat 38. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than a warehouse, but we’re still very busy. Mayur Kunj has a nice feel to it, and being in Phase-1 Extension makes it easy to get around the city. We mostly handle the administrative and corporate side of things from here. It’s a lot of meetings, phone calls, and dealing with the Delhi heat through an air conditioner that has seen better days. The apartment is filled with files and computers, and we usually have someone coming in or out for signatures. It’s a tight space, so we have to stay organized. We’re right near the border with Noida, so traffic is always a topic of conversation during lunch. We usually order in some food or walk down to the local market if we have time. It’s a more urban way of working compared to the Kutch or Nasik sites. We spend our days coordinating between the head office and the various plants across India. It’s a lot of talking and sorting out problems before they get too big. It might not look like a typical industrial office from the outside, but there’s a lot of work getting done behind these doors every single day. We just try to keep everything on track for the bigger operation.
