Indian Overseas Co.

Gandhi Nagar is a place that never really sleeps, and Indian Overseas Co. is right in the middle of it all. We are tucked away in Gali Chander Has at number 9/7452. If you know this area, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are always moving around with bundles of cloth on their shoulders. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. The walls are lined with stock, and there is barely enough room to walk sometimes when a new shipment arrives. We have been here for years, watching the market change and seeing the same faces every week. It is a bit chaotic, especially on Mondays when everyone is restocking, but we have a system that works for us. Usually, one of us is on the phone dealing with a supplier while someone else is counting out orders on the floor. It is hot in the summer because the air doesn't move much in these back alleys, so we keep a couple of old fans going constantly. We don't do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth in Gandhi Nagar is usually enough. People know where to find us if they need something specific. It is a noisy, cramped, and busy way to make a living, but it is home to us and we like the energy of the market even on the bad days.
