Working at 1 Chandra Nagar means our yard is always full of iron pipes, heavy canvas, and rolls of colored fabric. Being a decorator in the 110051 area is mostly about physical labor and timing. We spend our days loading up the trucks and driving to different spots around the neighborhood to set up for weddings or local festivals. It is not easy work, especially when the weather is bad. We have to make sure the tents stay up even when it is windy. Our hands are usually calloused from tying ropes and hauling poles all day long. We are not the kind of people who sit in an office. Most of the time, we are on-site, climbing ladders or checking the lights. People in Chandra Nagar know us because we have been around for a while. We do not have a big marketing plan; we just do what needs to be done for the next event. Sometimes things get hectic during the wedding season, and we barely get any sleep, but that is just how this business goes. We have a small group of workers who know exactly where everything goes. The warehouse is a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where every piece of cloth is. It is honest work, and it keeps us moving. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do because the work speaks for itself.
