Kumar Banquet

We are over here in Patparganj, right near the Anand Vihar Bus Adda. It’s a busy spot with all the cars from the Gazipur Automobile Centre moving around all day. This hall has been part of the neighborhood for quite some time now. We spend most of our mornings checking the lights and making sure the floor is swept clean before any guests show up. It gets pretty loud when there is a function going on, but that is just how it is in this part of Delhi. The building isn’t the newest one on the block, but we keep it tidy. Usually, you’ll see some of us standing outside near the entrance when it’s quiet. We handle everything from small family gatherings to bigger crowds that come in from the bus stand area. It’s a lot of work to get the chairs lined up just right and make sure the cooling is working when the sun is hitting the roof. People know us as the place tucked away in the automobile centre. Sometimes the traffic outside makes things a bit slow, but once you are inside, it’s a different world. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk where we keep the diary for bookings. Most days it’s just us fixing little things or talking to people who drop by to see the space. It is a simple setup but it works for the people living around here. We just try to get things done right and keep the place open for whenever someone needs a spot.
