Delhi Handicraft Exporters

Our place is tucked away in Gali No-1 in Shakarpur. If you know Delhi, you know these narrow lanes can be a bit of a maze. We operate out of U-244E. It’s where we keep all the stock and manage the shipping. We work with a lot of different crafts, mostly things made by hand in various parts of the country. It’s a lot of boxes and packing tape around here most days. We spend a lot of time checking the items before they go into crates. The traffic in Shakarpur is always a mess, so getting the trucks in and out is the hardest part of the day. We’ve been in this spot for years. It’s not a shiny office. There are stacks of paper on the desks and samples sitting on every available shelf. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the artisans and then talk to the people who want to buy the goods. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on shipping dates. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to explain that to everyone. It’s just the nature of the export business. We keep it simple and just try to get the orders packed right the first time. It’s a bit chaotic with all the bubble wrap and boxes, but we get it done and sent off to wherever it’s going.
