Concept Architecture & Interiors

Up on the 2nd floor of 65A on Street No 7 in Pratap Nagar, that’s where Concept Architecture & Interiors is based. It’s right in Mayur Vihar Phase I. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a decent workspace once you get there. We’ve got a view of the street which is always busy. We spend our time working on a mix of architecture and the inside bits of buildings. Sometimes it’s just a single room renovation and other times it’s a whole new structure from the ground up. We aren't a big corporate firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us trying to get the details right. There’s usually music playing in the background while we work on our computers. We deal with a lot of different people, from homeowners to small business owners. It’s interesting to see what people want for their spaces. We try to be realistic about what can be done. If someone wants a palace on a tiny budget, we have to have a tough conversation about it. We use simple tools and basic software to get our points across. The office is often full of tile samples and bits of wood. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We just like to get our heads down and get the drawings finished so the builders can start. It keeps us quite busy most days.
