Prateek Sethi Design Associates

We’ve been working out of S.F.-48 on the second floor of Cross River Mall for a while now. Karkardooma is a busy part of Delhi, and being right near the court means there is always a lot of movement outside. Prateek Sethi Design Associates isn't some big, cold corporate office. It’s mostly just a bunch of us sitting around tables covered in sketches and blueprints. Some days the mall is quiet in the mornings, which is when we get most of our drafting done. By the afternoon, it gets noisier, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time arguing over minor details in a drawing or trying to figure out why a particular design isn't working on paper. There’s usually a stack of half-empty chai cups near the computers. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see us buried in work. It’s practical and sometimes a bit messy. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the guards at the mall know us by name. It’s a decent place to work. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us and try to get the measurements right. It’s not about making a big statement; it’s just about doing the job every day. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet acts up, but that’s just how it goes. We like being in this part of Delhi. It feels like home to us now.
