We are located in Mayur Vihar Phase 2, right at Abhishek Plaza in Lsc Plot No-16. Our office is F-01 and it’s right on the main road, so it’s easy to spot if you are driving by. Being in Mayur Vihar is convenient because it’s a good middle ground for getting around East Delhi. We deal with import and export stuff, which basically means a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The office usually has boxes sitting in corners and the printer is almost always running. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially with the traffic noise from the main road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started Aakriti Impex to handle the logistics and trade that keep things moving. There isn't much glamour in what we do, it's mostly about checking lists and making sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or there’s a mix-up with the documents, and those are the days when we drink way too much tea. But we just keep at it until the job is done. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners in the plaza. It feels like a small community even though we are all busy with our own things. We just do our work and go home.
