Tirupati Steel Traders

Tirupati Steel Traders has been operating out of Nehru Nagar (E) for some time now. We are at 5/7, and it’s a typical yard area where we keep all the stock. If you come by to see us, you’ll see heaps of steel and metal around. It’s dusty and loud most of the time because that’s just the nature of this business. We spend our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out on the trucks. It’s not a quiet office job at all. We’re usually wearing boots and old shirts because there’s no point in dressing up when you’re moving heavy metal around all day. The neighborhood knows us well, and we know most of the people who stop by. We don’t have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. Just a small desk where we keep the books and take the phone calls. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually have a tea break without interruptions. We just try to keep things moving and make sure people get what they asked for. Steel trading is straightforward but it takes a lot of physical effort. We’ve had the same crew for a while, and we just get on with it. It’s a practical life, honestly. No big speeches, just loading and unloading stuff every day at the site here in Nehru Nagar.
