You can find us at Flat No. 2D on Cross Street 5 in the Hospital Sector. Being with Bhilai Steel Plant (Sail) means we are usually close to the action. The Hospital Sector is a bit different because it’s near where people go to get fixed up, but the plant's influence is everywhere. We’ve been in Bhilai for years and years. The work is mostly about routine and making sure the steel production stays on track. It’s not the kind of job you can do if you’re afraid of a little dirt or hard work. The flat is a simple place where we regroup after a long day at the gates. India is a big country and they need a lot of steel, so we stay busy. Cross Street 5 isn't a very long street, but it’s home. You can hear the sounds of the town and the distant clanging from the industrial areas. We don’t use polished language because that’s not who we are. We are workers. We focus on the daily tasks, checking the orders, and making sure the safety rules are followed. The plant is the reason this whole city exists, and we’re just glad to have our place in it.
