Hathkhoj is a busy place, especially around No. 18 G in the heavy industrial area. It’s where we do all our work with foundry chemicals and metals. The air always has that heavy, metallic smell to it, and you can hear the sounds of machinery from the neighboring shops all day long. We spend most of our mornings moving barrels around and checking the inventory. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes usually end up stained by the end of the shift. We’ve been here for quite some time now, just handling the daily orders that come in from the local foundries. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the gate, and we have to scramble to get everything loaded so they can get back on the road. The office is small and mostly filled with stacks of invoices and old delivery notes. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because the people who need these chemicals already know where to find us in the industrial estate. It gets incredibly hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break when we can to grab some water. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a tour, it’s just a working site where we get things done. We focus on the mixing and the packing, making sure the ratios are right for whatever the customer asked for that day. It's just a lot of hard work and heavy lifting.
