Our office is tucked away in Sector 6 of Bhilai Nagar. It is not on a main highway or anything like that. We are on Street 10, specifically at Quarter No 2/Q. If you have spent any time in Bhilai, you know how these sectors are laid out. Everything is built around the steel plant culture, and our spot is just a small part of that massive grid. The quarters here are old-style, with thick walls and small windows that keep the Chhattisgarh heat out a little bit. It is a quiet street for the most part, except when the shift changes and you hear all the cycles and bikes on the road. Tata Iron & Steel Ltd has a long history in this district of Durg, and you can see it in the way the town is run. Our work here is pretty straightforward. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of registers. People stop by to drop off documents or ask questions about the plant operations. The neighborhood is full of families who have worked here for generations.
