We are situated over in Risali at 17/32 Ispat Nagar. It is a well-known spot in the Bhilai area, especially for those of us connected to the Bhilai Steel Plant and SAIL. My name is N. Deb, and I’ve been around this industry for a long time. Living and working here means you are part of a massive network of steel production. We don't have a fancy corporate office with a lobby. Instead, we have a functional space where we handle the business of steel. The roads around Ispat Nagar are always busy with trucks and workers going back and forth. It is a noisy, active environment, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We focus on the practical side of things, like managing the logistics and the technical details of the plant's output. Steel making is a heavy, intense job, and it requires a lot of attention to detail. We spend our time checking on the different stages of the process, from the raw materials to the finished products. The weather in Chhattisgarh can be harsh, but the work at the plant never really stops. We are just one part of a very large machine that helps build the country. It is a straightforward existence. We do the work, look after the equipment, and make sure everything is on track. No fluff, just the daily grind of the steel industry. It is what we do best.
