You can find us in the Sunrise Building along Balod Road in Chandkhuri. It’s a quiet part of the Durg area, which is actually pretty good for a school because there isn’t too much noise from the main traffic. We have been operating here for some time now. The building is a simple structure with enough space for the kids to move around. We started out small and just kept going as more families moved into the neighborhood and needed a place for their children. Usually, the day starts early with the staff getting things ready before the students arrive. We aren't trying to be the most expensive or the flashiest school around. We just provide a place where the local children can sit down, read their books, and learn their subjects. The rooms have basic desks and boards. We try to keep the courtyard tidy, though the kids usually leave some stuff behind after their break. Teachers here are local people who care about how the kids are doing in their studies. We talk to the parents when they drop the kids off or pick them up in the afternoon. It’s a community thing, really. Sometimes we have small events for the kids, but mostly it is just the daily grind of lessons and homework. We focus on making sure the kids understand what they are reading. It’s just a normal school for regular families.
