M. L. Public School

M. L. Public School has been around Shastri Nagar for quite some time now. You can find us right near Mehaman Coldepo. It's a busy enough spot, but once the kids get inside the gates, things settle down into the usual school day rhythm. We have the basic classrooms set up and the teachers usually get here a bit early to prepare. It's not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets at every corner, but we make sure the rooms stay clean and the benches are in good shape for the students. Most of the families living around Durg know where we are. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone follows the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets noisy, but that's just part of being in this neighborhood. We have a small area where the kids play during the breaks. It gets a bit dusty when it hasn't rained, but they don't seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time on reading and writing. The staff is local, so we mostly know the parents by name when they come to pick up their children in the afternoon. It's a simple operation really. We just try to keep the kids focused on their books and get through the syllabus month by month. If you walk past Shastri Nagar, you'll hear the morning assembly starting around eight. That's just how our days go here.
