We are located at 70A/9/ M.Nehru Nagar West in Bhilai. It’s right here in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Most people in town know the area well enough. Steel Authority Of India has a presence here, but this particular location is pretty modest. It’s not one of those huge plants you see on the outskirts of town; it’s more of a neighborhood office. We have a few rooms where we keep track of things. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose. We spend our time going through schedules and making sure the local operations stay on track. It gets quite hot in Bhilai during the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. There’s no big sign or anything flashy out front. We just show up in the morning and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to get in and out, but that’s just part of living here. We’ve been part of this community for quite a while now. The people working here are locals who understand how things work in this part of Chhattisgarh. It’s a plain, honest workspace. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the essentials for the job. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, which we prefer over a cold office park. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay productive throughout the week.
