We’ve been over here at Mig Ii 255 in the Amdi Sector for a while now. Bhilai is a steel town, everyone knows that, and being part of Steel Authority Of India Ltd means we’re right in the middle of it all. It’s not always quiet around here but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with this kind of work. Most of us living in Chhattisgarh understand the grind. We show up, do what needs doing, and head home. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle the paperwork and coordination. Sometimes the dust from the plants gets on everything, but you get used to it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the operations moving along so the steel gets where it needs to go. It’s a lot of long hours and checking schedules. My neighbor works at the plant too, so we usually talk shop over tea. It’s a community thing. People around here depend on the industry. It's just life in Bhilai. We keep things straightforward. No need for big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. It’s steady work and we take it as it comes, day by day. You see the trucks going by and you know it’s another day done.
