Our office is G-10 in the CHPL building, right on Junwani Main Road. We are near the BSR Apollo Hospital, which is a big landmark around here. Working for Steel Authority Of India Limited in Bhilai makes sense because this city lives and breathes steel. We’re on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to drop in. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic on the main road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Inside, it’s a pretty basic setup. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a few chairs for when people stop by to discuss orders. We don’t go in for anything fancy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the lighting is just standard. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time, so we know the routine. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the paperwork is in order for the plants. It’s a steady job with a lot of regular tasks. We don’t have a big reception area or a polished look. We just offer a place where the work gets handled properly. Sometimes we grab a snack from the local vendors nearby during our break. It’s a very normal, local way of working. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just do the work that needs doing. It is a plain and simple operation.
