Rourkela Steel Plant, Sail

Our spot is over in New Adarsh Nagar in Durg. It’s Plot No-44 on Street 4B, which is tucked away in Zone No. 1. Even though the name says Rourkela, we are operating out here in Chhattisgarh. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, though there’s always some construction or something going on down the street. We work from this location, handling various bits of business related to the steel industry. It’s a simple setup with a few tables, some old computers, and a lot of logbooks. The street outside is narrow, so if a big truck comes through, everything has to stop for a minute. We’ve got a small team here, and we mostly keep to ourselves. The sun gets really hot in Durg, so the curtains are usually pulled tight during the middle of the day. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. It's just a place where we sit down and get through the paperwork and the planning that comes with being part of such a large organization. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket right outside our door, and the noise carries inside. We don't mind it much. It’s just a regular day-to-day existence, making sure the orders are processed and the logistics are sorted out. It’s not fancy, but it serves its purpose for what we need to do to keep things running.
