Qatar Steel Company

Our place is in Farid Nagar, Durg, right near the masjid. It is a busy little area in Chhattisgarh and we have been operating here for the Qatar Steel Company for some time now. The office is easy to find because everyone knows the masjid nearby. It gets very hot in Durg during the summer months, so we usually have the fans running full blast all day. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a functional room where we handle the steel business. We have piles of invoices and delivery notes that we have to go through every morning. Most of our work involves talking to people who are building things and need steel. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the yards and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It is a lot of manual tracking and phone calls. We know the local people around here and often stop to chat with the neighbors when we are heading out for lunch. There is a sense of community in Farid Nagar that you don't find in the bigger cities. We don't use any fancy business terms or try to act like we are some big multinational corporation. We are just local guys doing the work that needs doing. We focus on the daily tasks and try to make sure everything is in order before we close up for the evening.
