Priyadarshiny Public School

Priyadarshiny Public School is located in Arjunda, which is part of the Durg district. Our postal code is 491225. We’ve been a part of this community for a good bit of time now. The school is just a simple building where the kids from Arjunda and the nearby spots come to study every day. It’s definitely not one of those big, fancy institutions you find in the middle of a major city like Durg. We have classrooms that get plenty of sunlight, and a playground that sees a lot of use during recess time. The daily routine is pretty much the same every week. Teachers show up early, the kids arrive with their bags, and we get straight to work. Being in Durg, we are very used to the local lifestyle and the families living around here. We don’t use any corporate talk or have big mission statements hanging on the walls. We just teach the subjects and look after the students while they are with us during the day. The hallways can get a bit cluttered with bags and shoes, but that’s just part of having a school full of children. We have some trees around the perimeter which provide a bit of shade during the hotter months when it gets really sunny. People in the village know us well, and we know them too. It’s a basic, honest setup where the focus is just on the daily classes. We try to keep the place as organized as we can with the resources we have here in Arjunda.
