New Krishna Public School

If you drive down Rajnandgaon Road in the Balod area of Durg, you will see New Krishna Public School. We aren't a massive chain or a franchise; we are just a local school serving our neighborhood. The building is simple and sits right by the busy road, making it easy for parents to drop their kids off. Inside, it's usually filled with the sounds of kids talking and teachers giving lessons. We don't have any of those expensive high-tech labs or smart boards in every room, but we have enough for the students to learn the basics properly. The teachers here are straightforward people and they don't use a lot of fancy jargon when talking to the parents. We just sit down and discuss how the child is doing in their classes. It’s a very honest and open way of running a school. The playground gets a bit muddy when it rains heavily, and we don't have a fancy lobby for visitors. People just walk in and talk to us at the main desk in the front. We follow the standard public school curriculum without any extra frills. Most of the families who send their children here are working-class people from Balod and the surrounding parts of Durg. We try to keep the fees as manageable as possible because we know how tough things can be for everyone. There's no big mission statement hanging on the wall, just a commitment to showing up every day and helping these kids get a decent education. It’s a plain, hardworking place.
