Nakoda Steel Plant

Up in Kumhari, we run the Nakoda Steel Plant. You can find us in the Cghb Colony at Street B/8. Being in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh means we are right in the heart of a lot of industrial activity. Our plant is where we spend all our time. It’s a place filled with the smell of iron and the sound of machinery. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We are a more modest operation located in 490042. Most of us here grew up in the area or nearby. We take pride in just doing the work without a lot of fuss. The colony is a mix of homes and businesses, so we try to be good neighbors while keeping the plant running. Steel is what we know. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. There are no polished brochures or high-tech presentations here. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in our work clothes, probably a bit dusty from the day's tasks. We handle the production and the logistics from our little office on Street B/8. It can get pretty hot in Chhattisgarh, especially near the furnaces, but that is the nature of the business. We focus on getting the steel out on time and making sure the quality is decent for our customers. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now without any major changes.
