You can find us over in Smriti Nagar in Bhilai. We are located at 166-A on Street 30. It’s more of a residential neighborhood than an industrial zone. Vikas Mohan is the one who looks after things here, working out of this spot with help from Anand Mohan. Bhilai is a steel town through and through, so it makes sense for us to have a presence here even though the main plant for Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., Raigarh is a bit of a drive away. The street is usually quiet, with kids playing and people going about their business. It’s not like being inside a noisy factory. We do a lot of the coordination work from here. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of files. Most of our neighbors know what we do, but we keep things low-key. We aren't trying to be the biggest office in town. We just want to get our work done efficiently. Sometimes people drop by to drop off documents or to have a quick chat about the industry. The weather in Bhilai is similar to Raigarh—hot and humid for a good part of the year. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a comfortable place to work from. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you knock on the door, someone will just come out and help you out.
