We have our yard for Ganpati Ispat over in the Mohaba Bazar Nagar area of Hirapur. It is part of Ward No.24, which is a place that has seen a lot of changes over the last few years. We chose this spot because it seemed like a good place to set up a steel business without being right in the middle of the city traffic. Most of the day here is spent outside or in the shed, checking on the inventory and talking to the drivers who bring in the loads. It is a dusty kind of job, and your hands are rarely clean when you work with ispat, but that is what we know. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or trying to impress anyone with big words. We just look at the metal, weigh it, and get it moved to where it needs to go. Sometimes the neighbors from the ward stop by just to say hello or ask about the local news. It feels like a small village inside the city in some ways. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles at our place, just the basic tools and the space we need to operate. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy loading done early if we can. It is just honest work in a regular part of Hirapur. We keep doing what we’ve done since the day we opened up.
