Bhilai Steel Plant

We have been here at 2 B Avenuec in Sector6 for quite a long time now. Most folks in Bhilai know exactly where this part of town is. It is a busy spot and the traffic usually picks up when the shifts change. Working at Bhilai Steel Plant means we see a lot of metal moving around every single day. The heat from the furnaces is just part of the job and you get used to it after a while. Chhattisgarh has a lot of red soil and dust, especially around the 490006 area. We just show up, do our work, and go home when the day is done. There is not much fancy talk here. Our main gate is usually crowded in the mornings with people arriving from all over the region. Sometimes the avenue gets a bit backed up, but that is just life in a mill town like ours. We do not have a fancy office with big leather chairs. It is mostly just desks, charts, and the constant sound of machinery in the distance. Some of us have been working these floors since our fathers were here. It is a massive place and it is easy to get lost if you are not careful. We keep the machines running and try to stay out of the sun when the afternoon gets really hot. If you walk down Sector6, you will smell the iron. It is just what we do here in Bhilai. Nothing more and nothing less.
