Tingkhong Small Tea & Agro Producer Company Limited

Our office is located at Soneswar Bhawan in Rajgarh, which is part of the Dibrugarh district. We are basically a group of small tea growers who decided to work together under the name Tingkhong Small Tea & Agro Producer Company Limited. If you come by the Tingkhong area, you will see a lot of us working on our small plots of land. We aren't like those massive estates you see in the movies. It is more about individual families and neighbors helping each other out. We use the space here in Rajgarh to manage the paperwork and talk about how we can get our tea to the market. It gets busy during the picking season, and there is always a lot of chatter about the prices and the quality of the leaves. We have been doing this for a while now, and everyone in the group has their own way of doing things, but we try to stay organized. The building we are in is easy to find if you know the local landmarks. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people know who we are just by word of mouth in the village. It is a pretty straightforward way to earn a living, even if the work is tiring and the sun gets really hot in the afternoons. We just keep at it because this is what we know how to do best in this part of Assam.
