Luitjyoti Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based at Aligaldighla in Kamrup, working out of Shahjahan's place. It's mostly just a bunch of us locals trying to handle our crops better. Nalbari can be a tough place to get things moving, so we grouped up. It isn't anything fancy. We spend most days out in the fields or sitting around figuring out how to get our produce to market without losing money. Sometimes the weather doesn't help, and sometimes the roads are a mess, but that’s just how it goes here. Luitjyoti Farmer Producer Company Limited started because we needed a way to talk to buyers as one group instead of everyone doing their own thing. We don't have a big office or anything, just the space in 781126. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone sorting bags or checking on the latest harvest. It’s hard work, and we aren't experts at the paperwork side of things, but we know the land. We try to keep things simple. Everyone puts in what they can. Some days are busier than others, especially when it’s time to collect everything from the different farms around the village. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair deal for the time they spend under the sun. It’s a slow process building this up, but we’re taking it one day at a time to see where it leads us.
