Borhat Farmer Producer Company Limited is our little setup here in Narem Potherpo village. You can find us at Dibyajyoti Gogoi’s place, he’s been kind enough to let us use his space as the main point of contact. Borhat is a place where everyone knows everyone, so finding us isn't too hard. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to pool our efforts. It’s not a big corporate thing at all. We spend most of our time out in the fields or sitting around a wooden table talking about the next season. The village of Narem Potherpo is quiet, mostly green, and the air is good. We don't have any fancy signs or billboards. We just do our work and help each other out with the crops. Some days we're dealing with seeds, other days it's about getting the harvest to where it needs to go. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually stained with dirt, but it’s what we know. We aren't much for writing big reports or using complicated words. We just want to make sure the farmers in Borhat get a fair shake. If you're looking for us, just ask for Dibyajyoti's house in the village. We’ll likely be there, or somewhere close by in the fields. It’s a simple life, but we like it this way. No rush, just steady work day in and day out.
